All students are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with this Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Core Values and Expectations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Respect: Students must treat all members of the DTI community with dignity and respect, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Integrity: Students are expected to be honest in all academic and administrative matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibility: Students must take responsibility for their actions and their impact on the learning community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professionalism: Students should conduct themselves in a manner befitting future professionals in their chosen field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prohibited Conduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Physical or verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, or harassment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discrimination based on protected characteristics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexual harassment or misconduct<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession or use of weapons on campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs or alcohol on campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Theft or vandalism of Institute property<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disruptive behavior in classrooms or learning spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism, falsification)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violation of computer and technology use policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unauthorized access to Institute facilities or records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequences of Violations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verbal or written warning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic probation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temporary suspension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permanent dismissal from the Institute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Referral to law enforcement when applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific consequence will depend on the severity and frequency of the violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting Violations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who witness or experience Code of Conduct violations should report them to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Their instructor or program coordinator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Student Services Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Dean of Students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All reports will be investigated promptly and confidentially to the extent possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due Process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students accused of Code of Conduct violations are entitled to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Written notification of the alleged violation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An opportunity to respond to the allegations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fair and impartial hearing process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to appeal disciplinary decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions about the Student Code of Conduct, contact the Dean of Students at (555) 123-4567.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction Davis Training Institute is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
